During a recent friendly match against Cardiff City, Roma players were seen engaging in an intense post-match altercation on the pitch. Video footage captured by a spectator in the stands shows Paulo Dybala and Bryan Cristante getting into a heated exchange that escalated to shoving each other after conceding their fourth goal of the match.

The incident occurred shortly after the Giallorossi had conceded the fourth goal, with Cristante reportedly criticising Soulé for not contributing more defensively. This led Dybala to respond angrily by pushing his captain, leading to a tense situation on the field. Fortunately, Wesley came over to separate them before things could escalate further.

The pre-season for Roma has been particularly challenging. After securing qualification for the Champions League with new contracts signed by both Dybala and Cristante, they faced a 3-0 lead against Cannes that was ultimately drawn after Wesley was sent off. Their recent friendly match against Cardiff City ended in a 4-1 defeat, adding to the team's woes.

Matias Soulé, who recently signed new contracts with Roma, is currently on the market for €30m plus add-ons and has been linked with a move to Milan. However, no firm buyers have emerged yet. The club’s pre-season performance has not been ideal, making this scuffle even more noteworthy.
